during the Bathurst Motorsport Festival held resently in Australia there was the maint event WPS Bathurst 12Hours. BUt one of they support races was for the Improved Production CHampionship were I found these gems still ripping it up after all these years!

Goh returns to Le Mans
Le Mans Winning Team Goh Returns with a championhip winning Porsche RS Spyder and Factory support with Sascha Maassen, 39 years-old, who already piloted a RS Sypder last year in Le Mans, will contest the event for the Japanese-based NAVI Team Goh. His team mates are the experienced Seiji Ara (Japan) and youngster Keisuke Kunimoto (Japan). Ara, 34, won the overall classification in Le Mans back in 2004 with the Goh team, whilst the 20-year-old Formula 3 pilot, The team’s Porsche RS Spyder is the winning car from last year that the Japanese outfit obtained from Van Merksteijn Motorsport. With the regulations requiring a substantially smaller air restrictors, the 3.4-litre V8 engine now delivers 440 hp instead of 476. Moreover, the rear wing and the under-body have been modified to conform to the regulation changes. Michelin is the team’s tire partner.

they will enter one car run by the Gigawave Team of England in four events over the 2009 season.The car is built to they 2010 FIA GT1 rules.The only other scheduled 2010 spec cars for this season will be they Matech Ford Gt.This lovely machine will br driven by NISMO driver Micheal Krumm and British Driver Darren Turner. Gigawave parent company makes on-board cameras and live timing and scoring support for the FIA GT Championship. They have been competing since 2007 with a Aston Martin DBR9.

F20 Suzuka testing
they were back out testing recently at they Suzuka South Circuit.SInce they main Suzuka Grand Prix Circuit was getting work done to it. The Dome entry now sports the same livery as its SuperGT NSX cousin. Side note to this is that Dome and Tokyo R&D Sports entries are running on Volk TE37 Cup wheels! thats cool

yep thats what it is with a big block V8 in it. Running in the Bathurst 12 Hours running against they evo’s and sti’s I posted below.The Aussies are making some amazing machines they dont car how big or powerful they’ll race anything. Fuckin GM we should of had cars like this then maybe you wouldnt have to fire 40,00 employees. Rant over.
