2002 HKS Mercedes Benz CLK GT500

this little gem comes from they early part of this new millennium. The GT Association the people who run and organise the JGTC then and SuperGT Series now changed the rules to encourage new makes to enter the series. Well HKS answered the call and produced this V8 CLK you see here.They went up against the best factory tuners TOMS, Mugen, DOME, NISMO with all there major sponsors. It was a major accomplishment for the relatively small operation to go up against them in a car that they developed.Though the results were lacking in its half a season that it ran it proved again that there few tuners that operate on or near the same level as HKS.
